I started baking at the age of 7 in an Easy Bake Oven. My first cake was baked for my late father, Joseph Darby Sr. Every Saturday I watched baking and cooking shows until I decided that I wanted to attend Culinary School. I am a 1997 graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Where I earned Baking & Pastry Arts of Science Degree.
Baking is a mental therapy that allows me to create pastries that will bring love and joy to my customers. To make a great product, you need love, time and the finest ingredients.
